Actually, this scene doesn't happen in the past The adult Robin is with the Mugiwaras while the child Robin is only the result of a time paradox (you can read the fanfiction scenario for more details).
<_<" Well, it indeed sounds really extreme... I mean, what do they plan to do with fanarts them There is already a real law about it so it's not like a project like SOPA will go amend something already existing.
And as far as I am concerned, I find it foolish for American Law to go against copyrighted things originally originating from another country like Japan where most fanartists are based in Asia, far from the risk of being put in jail by them
Actually, Mashiro-sensei said he loved OCs when some Japanese fans sent him a couple of sketches I believe when you create your own world with a manga and you see people wanting to join this world, then you might feel really proud (well, as long as you don't steal the hero spotlight ). Everyone can have a role at their size after all
That; was fucking beautiful man. The animation was a little fuzzy in a few areas but outside of that, you did a wonderful job animating this scene. I need to read your fan fiction at some point because with you continuing to post these scenes it's only tempting me to look it up. <3
I watched the Youtube version it looks better there, even as a newbie it still pretty good for a start. Did you use voices from the anime for Fuu's voice or did you do her voice?
I noticed that and I have a little more respect for your Oc since I know what the story's about, she's sounds a but like a sue for being a self-insert but at lest there's a reason why she is the way that she is.
Well, that's the limits of my capabilities I'm only an amateur after all.
Fuu's voice is her original seiyuu voice altered a little for rhythm and intonation. Ace is his original one from the anime.
Well, I find it a little sad people think that without a second thought. I mean, the authors themselves found it fun because it was a little like a paradox/parody in itself, with one side being a regular OC story and another laughing at the usual cliches of OC stories. If someone finds it boring or uninteresting, I am fine with it but it's a pity people always try to witch-hunt "sues" out of context without even remembering the first goal of enjoying yourself in the fandom
Ahhh I see, I don't watch the English Subbed version of One Piece but still not half bad. C:
Well, Mary-Sues are one of my biggest pet peeves mainly because I've encountered a number of them in the past that bugged the shit out of me. In all honesty Fuu does mess with a lot of the original storyline which is why a lot of people bash her for it, but the reason why is because of the logic based around the fan fiction even so it still makes her kind of a Sue i'm not gonna lie about that. She's a beautiful Oc and I know your using her to enjoy your One Piece fandom but i'd hate for you to go through another round of haters like in the past, that's just my opinion no offence or hate towards your character. But i'm not one to jump the gun on a character so quickly until I read the information about it, the explanation on your fan fiction does lighten up my opinon on how I see Fuu now.
Well, to be honest, no offense taken. I mean, not everyone likes everything so it's not like I would try to make people agree by force. I just don't understand why people are trying to force me/others to agree with them on hating it. It's not like this fanfic is pretending to be the purest IC OP story around (we already have Oda for that ) nor ambitioning to be global universal reference (it's only OP and only fanfic, come on... ) Also, when I see authors taking liberties with canon (AU, yaoi, slash, crack, pardoy...), I don't get why they suddenly turn into Inquisition just because OC are involved
Back to topic, the authors are always happy to have questions because they have many tricks and secrets left in the scenario of this fic, as well as many explanations about the outsider characters so if you ask them, they'll be glad to develop
Yeah, i do with most of the animes I watch. Doesn't mean I won't ever watch one in English Subbed I just liked English Dubbed better.
Well Ocs are a way for most fans to express their feelings about a fandom or a certain character they like, I have a One Piece Oc of my own who has a crush on Usopp and i'm trying as hard as I can to make her original and not mess around with the original storyline or do something that'll make her end up being hated. She doesn't have to be fucking perfect but enough so people will respect her for being an Oc inserted into the One Piece fandom.
Exactly, your just expressing your fandom in a different way only a little more twisted with fucking up some of the storylines like with Ace's death or Robin's past. It's not acceptable for most people and it does give off a Sue-like impression but as long as there's an explanation behind it, there's no need to be hating. I will say this though for future reference, try and fix a few errors in Fuu so she doesn't appear to be a big time Sue like the thing with Robin's past, as I said before i hate it when people's characters get bashed for something that can easily be fixed and when the user doesn't do a thing to fix it their just setting themselves up for more witch-hunts and Anti Mary-Sue invasions on their page. Just offering some help to a fellow One Piece fan if you ever decide to fix a few things, but no matter what you do there's a handful of people that will always love Fuu no matter what you do to her.
I'll be sure to drop them a call and chat when i can. <3
Well, everyone has their favourite for dubbed or subbed after all ^^
Hmm, I will try to look at it that way. I am not the one writing her in any case, and from my point of view, Fuu had always been quite "normal" actually (well, not shounen normal, I meant human normal) so I had only thought the reason was because didn't understand why a "normal" girl was lucky enough to leave in OP world and make friends there
I also didn't understand why people insisted onr eading when the authors wrote in the title "OC" in bold and in the first most important summary that canon scenario was changed... I mean, if I enter a comics shop, I wouldn't complain about them not selling the last literature prized novel so... People sure have become spoiled about taking responsibilities for their own actions
Sure, I'm sure you enjoy the fandom yourself a lot ^^ And it's even better if you do it with no haters around
