~EXTRACT~
The huge clock of Marine Ford rang three o'clock, and the sound of the bell chimed like a death knell for the pirates fighting there.
"It's time! Your life finishes now, Gol D. Ace! The bloodline of the Pirate King is going to disappear from this Earth, despite all your efforts!" shouted Admiral Sengoku, instructing the two guards who had recently climbed back on the scaffold to lower their blades on Ace – and somehow on Fuu who was near him.
"NO!" screamed Fuu, raising her arms above her head, as if hoping to use them as a shield, but without the presence of mind of moving from where she was.
No! I don't want that… I want to bring him back to Luffy. I decided that it will be my mission here, so I can't let him die… I don't want to let him die! I want… I want to protect him!SCHLING. A light barrier surrounded immediately Fuu and Ace, in a flash of pure white light.
Wh… what…?BAM. The two blades rebounded on the light shield.
SHIN. A small second of realization passed, as the two executioners were gasping at seeing that the translucent dome had stopped their two blades before they could reach their target.
"W…H…A…T…?" snarled Admiral Sengoku, more and more irritated by all these tricks which were definitely not part of his plans for this War.
Having soon recovered from their surprise, both soldiers repeated their tentative, but despite their numerous trials, their blades kept on getting deflected in numerous light flashes mixed with the crackle of steel.
Wh… why…? H… how…? though Fuu while prudently lowering her arms from above her head, as if afraid of making the light barrier falter at the mere gesture.
And while doing so, she gradually noticed a long inscription on her left forearm. In the calligraphic brushes of black ink was written:
"It does no harm just once, so I will lend you a hand. You are granted the power of the Hoshi Hoshi no Mi, the ability of wishes. It should be practical enough even for your weird sense of fighting, and knowing you as I know you, you won't have any trouble using it with your endless imagination… And back to business, my protagonists are quite in trouble so I'm counting on you to help Luffy save the day."
The whole followed by a stinky blinking smiley thumbs up.
SHIN. Fuu's expression turned dark as she was gazing at the inscription, her whole body trembling with controlled fury and frustration.
THAT… DAMN… AUTHOR OF A BROTHER!
When I'll be back home, I'll slaughter him! He's got the hell of a nerve! How come 'just once, I will lend you a hand' when everything is your damn fault, you stupid! How come 'help Luffy' when I don't even know where he is? How come 'save the day'? If you needed a character to come and help your heroes, just create one! Grr!***
~Additional information~
###ATTENTION SPOILERS some of these informations will only be discovered after Story V. Gold Quest but as some people judge a book by its cover instead of reading it and following the usual normal scenario evolution, let's go for it...###

Despite how out-of-this-world this Fruit is, it still follows the basic rules from the One Piece world.
It is a Paramecia and affects the user's body. The Hoshi Hoshi no Mi basically changes one's life energy into 'magical energy' or mana, which in turn is used to cast 'spells'
the process being similar to the one of RPG, and Fuu having only that reference for her to try and get a hold of what her Devil Fruit power is, that's the most rational explanation available for us common mortals... now, if you are Oda-sensei himself and know better how Devil Fruits works, you are welcome to try it your way...
As discovered in
Story IV. Quest and in the Story Transitions, this Devil Fruit works only
if the user knows what she is doing or at least if her brain knows for her (conditionning, reflexes and intuitions sometimes do not have time to be put into words or well-built coherent ideas to exist nonetheless). As Clow said, Fuu was using her Fruit better when her instinctive imagination was at work than once she started rationalizing it (but it's unfortunately how human brain works out when learning, be it in art or sports, so Fuu will have to go through such process along time...). As such, she can NOT wish for a
Charaxes brutus natalensis to appear if she doesn't know it is a type of butterfly ; she can NOT teleport people without preparing some kind of area-zone to depart and having vizualized some arrival point ; and she can NOT use it if she is unconscious (or in seawater or severely poisoned by Kairouseki).

As will be discovered during the battle phase of
Story V. Gold Quest and during the Story Transition after Story V., this Fruit only works for
things to be done and not for
things to be undone. For the one knowing about Bleach Universe, it is apparently the opposite of Orihime's power, and thus the most common type of power one can use. As such, Fuu can NOT prevent another Devil Fruit user from using it and can NOT cancel their power, although if it's a physical attack, she can counter with her own power
i.e. she can create a shield but not make the opponent's sword disappear. Also, even if her power can speed up the natural regeneration process of the human body, she can NOT resurrect someone who has definitely lost their life
i.e. their soul, this little uncomprehensible something that you don't know how nor where nor why it's there or not there anymore...
The Fruit first worked out with a limit of 10 wishes due to the limited amount of energy granted to Fuu in the dream-related One Piece Universe during
Story II. Nightmare causing Fuu to disappear from this world once the given energy has been spent.

Once the original scenario of One Piece was forced to take an alternative turn due to Clow's Author Power, Fuu accidentally kept her Devil Fruit powers, but the limit was somehow removed/extended, as the Fruit now pumps out energy from her life-span (and on the short-term, hurts her and makes her faint of exhaustion depending on the intensity of use). You can assimilate it to Luffy's Gear Second as the result is similar even if the process is not the same. Such elements are discovered little by little after Fuu and Clow got stuck on Grand Line and are revealed at the end of
Story III. Paradox. Both of them are present in One Piece World based on a conjuring trick and will disappear from this world if they run out of energy (for Fuu, it also means after having used her Devil Fruit too much).

Along the Story, Fuu naturally changes the way she uses her Devil Fruit even if she still doesn't know what to do with it. Her true goal/dream/quest is to fix the mess she has caused in a world which is not hers and to go back to hers, which is unfortunately a wish that can not be granted by her Fruit.

Some might say it is easy with such a Fruit to wish for the One Piece and end up the ultimate Quest of this fandom, but there are 3 reasons preventing it: 1) It is impossible by the way the Fruit works to make something appear in her hands while the user doesn't even have a signle clue what it is and where it is to / 2) Even if she could go beyond her Devil Fruit nature, the spoilers alert (phenomenom revealed in
Story IV. Ice Quest) would hurt to prevent her doing so, as it is something going against the very essence of One Piece World / 3) Even if she could go beyond her Devil Fruit nature, and even if despite her good sense and the spoilers alert, she'd still want to do so, Clow and Luffy would just snap at her saying it's not interesting (just like Luffy quieted Usopp when he asked Rayleigh about it).

The
parody aspect which had been developed when thinking out this Devil Fruit is that it's precisely when you can do EVERYTHING that you have NOT THE SLIGHTEST idea of what you should do (e.g. similarly to Green Lantern when he first got the Ring...). Besides, as it is often comically repeated along the adventure, such a power naturally emphasize the personality of its owner, and having a pacifist/happy-go-lucky/unambitious person in charge won't help at all in battle/quest.
