~About Portgas D. Ace in #OPHS~

He entered the Academy 3 years before his younger adoptive brother Monkey D. Luffy and is now in 7th Grade. He also has another adoptive brother the same age as him in the same grade: Sabo.

He joined the Basketball Team back in 4th Grade at the time of the Golden Era of the WhiteBeard's Team along with Marco (who gaduated and became teacher), Thatch (who graduated and became coach), Izou (who graduated and works outside the Academy) and Haruka. They won the championship several years in a row and were known as the strongest. Now, Ace has become Captain of the Team and is looking for new teammates.

He has narcoleptic tendencies even worse than the rest of the Monkey family and often leaves the dorms still half-asleep (OFF mode). But his pride as an older brother and his secret will to become better than the founder of the school pushes him to study harder than anyone else when needed (ON mode). He also took the Elective Course of "Diplomacy" under the advice (forced advice) of his grand-father in order to broaden his horizon and prove to himself he is worth more than the blood that runs in his veins.

He has very good academic results and in sports but many teachers complain about his bad attitude and more especially at how hot-blooded he is in picking fights with other students and more especially students from the rival Marine Academy.

He is extremely attached to the Boys Dorm Master Edward Newgate who taught him basketball and considers him like a father while he never revealed until recently the name of his blood father: the founder of #OPHS Gol D. Roger, whom he hates to the core for having left his mother behind while dying at work.

Initially, he was volunteered (by his grand-father again) to become the President of the Student Council but he stubbornly opposed his heritage, almost got fired from school, found someone to take over the job (or rather someone took the job for him) and was allowed to stay while the title of President went to one of the strongest students in order to avoid any claim.

He is extremely popular with female students and always ends up covered with an avalanche of chocolates for Valentines Day. He is always voted on the podium of 'Mister OPHS' in these past three years.
